Mizu-basyou (Lysichiton camtschatcense) - Grows in the spring along streams of melted snow. This plant is one of the most beloved wildflowers in Japan.  
Ko-Iwakagami (Schizocodon soldanelloides) - This plant is found in sunny fields. It's leaves have high luster.
