  Preparing the pack before the first day out  Simon, our friendly guide on the climb through great conditions  Rob finding his way through the trees  First drop down. Simon's track left, Rob's center, SerreChe's right  Shadows and light in the backcountry  Rob entering through the "tree cave". Some tight trees indeed. You need to know your way though  Getting out of the tree cave  Top of the cable car. Pretty cold up here. Looks like the inside of a freezer  Our next hike on the menu. We have to break trail in rather deep snow before reaching the top of the ridge
