Updated 10/26/10! First Snow In Aomori!
We awoke this morning of October 26 to the sight we have been long waiting for: 初雪. Both the mountains in Hakkoda and Mt. Iwaki were covered with the white stuff. Make your plans now!

Updated 10/19/10! 八甲田大岳の初霜!
First frost on the top of Mt. Odake 1584m at Hakkoda yesterday. It won't be long now! Snow is around the corner! I am already getting quite a few bookings, make your plans to come now!

Eight hours of Jazz starting at 1pm in an outdoor amphitheater surrounded by mother nature! Top jazz bands from Japan and around the world!! You can find all the information here.



Updated 6/17/10! Simon's Tour Goes Volcanic!
With skiing/snowboarding as an awesome memory, it is time to hit the trails. Simon's Tours in conjunction with the Chapel's SAM group went hiking up to the craters of Mt. Ido and Akakura on Saturday followed by a relaxing hot springs bath and a stop at a cook-it-yourself yakinuku restaurant! We are out weekly either mountain biking or hiking! What are you waiting for?


Making it snow in June on our way up to the top! James who just arrived in Japan weeks ago said later: "The trip was amazing, I signed up for a hike but I received a first class adventure. The views were breath taking!"
